Werîşe Muradî was sentenced to death on November 10 by Branch 15 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Tehran on the charge of “treason”. It is learned that Werîşe Muradî has serious health problems due to the torture she was subjected to in Evin Prison and she was not referred to a hospital on the grounds that “she is not allowed to leave the prison”.   It is stated that Werîşe Muradî was subjected to oppression in prison and cannot benefit from any right, especially the right to health, after the death sentence.    Although the prison administration stated that Werîşe Muradî would be transferred to a hospital outside the prison on condition that she pays her own expenses, they did not fulfill this decision after the death sentence.
