'SILENCE IS SHAMEFUL'
Koyê University Kurdish Department Lecturer Dr. Hîwa Selam stated that the sovereignty of the lands of Iraq and the Federated Kurdistan Region is no more and said, “It is a shame that both governments remain silent in the face of these attacks. There are several reasons and there are agreements on the basis of these reasons, which is why they keep so quiet. Otherwise, there is no reason for them to remain silent. At a time when foreign warplanes arrive, the Kurdistan Region is bombed and no one is telling the attackers to stop. The will of the people of Shengal need to be taken into account. The construction process should continue until self-government and self-determination is achieved."
