MERSIN - Salih Toğrul, who was released in 2014 after having a stroke in prison, passed away in Mersin, where he was receiving treatment.
Ill prisoner Salih Toğrul, who was released on December 13, 2014 because he had a stroke and lost his memory while being held in Siirt Type E Closed Prison, died in Mersin City Hospital. It was learned that Toğrul, whose body was taken to the hospital morgue, will be taken to his hometown Siirt to be buried tomorrow.
HE SUFFERED TWO HEART ATTACKS IN PRISON
Toğrul, who was held in prison for 18 years, had a heart attack twice while in prison in 2007, after which he became partially paralyzed. In 2013, Toğrul suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, lost his reflexes and memory, , and could not continue his daily life because he could not meet his needs.
