Since March 25, 2021, no one have heard from PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and prisoners Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş, who have been held under severe isolation conditions in İmralı High Security Type F Prison for 23 years. Applications by lawyers to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Directorate of Imrali Penitentiary Institution for meeting twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) and families once a week (Friday) are left unanswered.

 

LAWYERS FILED COMPLAINT TO THE HSK

 

Advocating Öcalan for years, Asrın Law Office filed a complaint to the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) against the prosecutors and judges on December 24 for 'unlawfully preventing the exercise of rights by abusing office'.
