ISTANBUL - A 5-storey building in Fatih where refugees live in, was set on fire by a group. 3 people were poisoned by smoke, one person was injured.
A fight broke out between the two groups for an unknown reason, in the 5-storey building where refugees were staying in Molla Gürani Neighborhood in Fatih district of Istanbul. A group fled the scene after the fight, setting the basement of the building on fire. In an instant, the flames engulfed the entire building. A panicked refugee, who was on the third floor at the time of the fire, jumped out of the window. Three refugees are suffering from smoke poisoning.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire while the people injured and poisioned were taken to the hospital.
Police started an operation to catch the people who were involved in the fight and set the building on fire.
