İSTANBUL -  Members of the Prisoners Solidarity Initiative came together in front of the Forensic Medicine Institude (ATK) to draw attention to the condition of ill prisoners and demand their release.

 

Solidarity with Prisoners Initiative gathered in front of the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) in Yenibosna with the slogan "Freedom for sick prisoners" to draw attention to the situation of ill prisoners. The families of the prisoners, the Peace Mothers Initiative, the Free Women's Movement (TJA), the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Kocaeli MP Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu and many representatives of non-governmental organizations  supported the initiative's demonstration.

 

The members of the initiative, who plan to meet in front of the ATK every Thursday to demand "freedom for ill prisoners", will make a statement here.
