ŞIRNAK - While the final hearing of the case against 16 people who are on trial for commmorating the 34 people killed in Roboski by Turkish war planes was postponed, the prosecutor requested prison sentence for the relatives of the dead.
The final hearing of 16 people on trial for commemorating 34 citizens killed by the bombardment of Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) warplanes on 28 December 2011 in Roboski (Ortasu) village of Şırnak's Uludere district, was held at Şırnak 2nd High Criminal Court. 16 people, including the families of the murdered, are accused of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization".
The prosecutor of the case requested prison sentence for the 16 people. The hearing was postponed to March 7 on grounds that the defendants and their attorneys did not attend the hearing.
