NEWS CENTER - Autonomous Administration Co-Chairs drew attention to the ISIS attack on Sinaa Prison and said that ISIS members should be tried by a court to be established in the Autonomous Administration area.
On Tuesday, Autonomous Administration issued statement regarding the ISIS attack on Sinaa Prison, demanding from the international community to assume its responsibility.
The statement was attended by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Abdul Hamid Al-Mahbash, the co-chairs of the Autonomous Administration of Jazira, Talaat Younes and Nazira Gawriya, the co-chair of the Interior Commission in Jazira , Kanaan Barakat, the co-chair of the Haseké Canton Council, Samar Al-Abdullah, and a number of other administrators.
The Autonomous Administration, during its statement, which was delivered by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Berivan Khaled, confirmed that the great and new victory against ISIS is an extension of all the heroic epics that the people of North and East Syria led against terrorism with redemption.
The statement reads as follows:
“Firstly, in the name of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, we extend our congratulations and blessings to all of our people with all its components on the great and new victory that defeated ISIS, as this victory is an extension of all the heroic epics that our people led against terrorism with redemption, and at the same time we remember the martyrs and pay tribute to their sacrifices, we offer our condolences to their families and to all our people, and we wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.”
AN INTERNATIONAL COURT MUST BE ESTABLISHED
In the statement underlining that this is a danger not only for the Kurds but for the international public, the following statement was made: "This should be solved with the coordination of the Autonomous Administration and the international powers. Either and independent international court must be established or a court must be established where the Autnonomous Administration can prosecute these people. The nations that has ISIS members belonging to their countries must take responsibility for the repatriation of their citizens, especially women and children. They should support the Autonomous Administration in order for the children to get rid of these negative conditions. Necessary support should be given for their retraining, for the further improvement of the security and humanitarian aspects of camps and prisons. This should be continued until the situation is resolved. We are faced with these problems because the international community does not fulfill its responsibilities. There is a massacre every day in the Hol camp. They are beheading people and burning down some places in these camps. On January 20, Sinaa Prison in Hesekê was targeted. As a result of a borader plan, nearly 200 ISIS members targeted the prison with a group of gangs coming from the occupied areas of Turkey and the Iraqi border. The aim was to revive ISIS. Thus, it was aimed to liquidate the Autonomous Administration project by causing problems among the people of the region.”
