Journalist Nurcan Yalçın, who was detained during a raid on her home in Diyarbakır on February 4, has been processed at the police station. A 24-hour lawyer restriction was brought against Yalçın, who was taken to the TEM Branch after being detained. Her lawyer, who went to the TEM Branch to meet with Yalçın 2 days ago after 24 hours had passed, learned that this time there was a confidentiality decision on the file.
It was learned that Yalçın, whose statement was taken at the police station yesterday, was questioned about news videos consisting of interviews she made before the curfews started in Diyarbakır's Sur district in 2015.
Yalçın was referred to Diyarbakır Courthouse for her statement at the prosecutor's office.
