THIS IS AN IMPORTANT CAMPAIGN
Activist Menzer Eli, who supported the campaign, said: “All these campaigns will have a significant impact. It will put pressure on public opinion and political decision makers. For this reason, Kurds living abroad in all provinces and districts should carry out different large and effective demonstrations, and the PKK should be removed from the 'terrorist list'. The PKK is fighting for the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people. Kurds, like all peoples of the world, have political, intellectual and social rights. The rights of the Kurdish people in this geography should be recognized in accordance with international law and the universal provision of human rights.”
THIS IS A POLITICAL ISSUE
Asking "why is the PKK a terrorist?", activist Menzer Eli said, "This is just a political issue. The international powers themselves know very well that the PKK is not a 'terrorist'. So this issue is political. This decision should be reviewed and changed. Like all the peoples of the world, the Kurdish people should exist with their rights and be happy.”
'PKK PROTECTS ITS LANDS'
A citizen named Werzêr Cemal said: “The PKK is in its territory. Why is it accused of terrorism?” The PKK protects its land, water and culture in every way. It has not invaded anyone's land. Turkey is occupying the lands of Kurdistan. All Kurds must unite demonstrate a common attitude, should shout to the world that Kurdish parties should not be included in the 'terror list'. Because no Kurdish party in history has extended a hand to or attacked another country's lands.”
