NEWS CENTER- Condemning the Paris massacre, PYD called on the French government to immediately initiate an investigation to uncover and punish the perpetrators.

 

The General Assembly of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) made a statement about the massacre in Paris on its official website.

 

In the statement made by the PYD Council, as the 10th anniversary of the Paris massacre against 3 Kurdish leaders approaches; In 2013, another massacre took place in the same city. This massacre reveals the face of the dark circles against the Kurds.

 

The Council drew attention to the fact that the Turkish state was behind the massacre of 3 women leaders and stated that the Turkish state was definitely responsible for the massacre that took place in Paris today. It also stated that this massacre tested the democratic and humanitarian values of France.

 

Condemning the massacre, the Council called on the French authorities to initiate an investigation and reveal the parties behind the massacre. Expressing its condolences to the families of the martyrs, the Council stated that they are committed to democratic values, freedom and fraternity of the peoples.

 

At the end of the parliamentary statement, the PYD said: "The fascist Turkish state, targeting Kurds everywhere and trying to destroy their gains, cannot achieve its hostile ambitions and invasion in Northern and Eastern Syria and Bashure Kurdistan."

 

CONDEMNATION FROM SALİH MÜSLİM

 

PYD Co-Chair Salih Müslim also shared the following message on his Twitter account: "We stay in our villages, on our plains, they destroy and burn them and also they kill civilians and nature, we flee to our mountains, they attack us with chemicals in there. Is there no place for Kurds in this world?"
