AMED - Condemning the blocking of HDP's treasury aid account and People of Diyarbakır said: "The blocking of treasury can't stop HDP. The state will not be able to break the will of the Kurds.”

 

Condemning the Constitutional Court's (AYM) blocking of the People's Democratic Party (HDP) Treasury aid upon the request of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office of the Supreme Court of Appeals, Amed residents expressed their condemnation of any attack against the will of the Kurds.

 

'THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE CANNOT BE BROKEN'

 

Noting that the HDP's political history comes from a long struggle, Nimet Erek said: "Whatever the Turkish state does, whether the Turkish state blocks the accounts or not gives money, it will not be able to break the will of these people. Surely they should know this well. MHP has 20 MPs, one of them stands up and says, 'Block HDP, do not give money'. I mean, they think they're going to put an embargo on HDP but nothing stops HDP . We will never stop the struggle. We will continue to fight. We will win, they will lose."

 

'HDP IS THE PEOPLE'

 

Emphasizing that they are not helpless, Erek said: “HDP always has an alternative. They have a lot of projects. One party goes, and another one comes. HDP struggled for many years and has a lot of experience, so it can't get stuck because of a block. These blocks, closures, can never break our will. HDP is me, you and people."

 

'HDP WILL NOT BOW DOWN'

 

Öklav said: “The HDP has never bowed down and will never bow down, and it will never surrender. If you block the HDP, our other party is not helpless in preparation. HDP will always win. If they don't steal votes, the HDP always wins."

 

'WE ARE NOT NEEDED'

 

Stating that there is no law in Turkey and they predict the results of the oppression against their parties, Kazim Aldan evaluated his view of the event as follows: "This is not a problem. We'll collect money between us, we'll deal with it again. Are we dead? The Kurds are not dead. We do not need their money. We have solutions, even in the case of closure. How many of our parties have been closed before? We will continue again. They cannot block the way of the Kurds. The Kurds are not the Kurds of a hundred years ago. We do not vote for any party other than HDP. Even if it is not, we find a solution ourselves. In this election, they will go or they will be in trouble. If the Kurds are united, we will win.”

 

'WE ARE GOING TO WIN'

 

Condemning particularly the attitude of the opposition, Mehdi Bayram concluded his words as follows: “When trustees were appointed to many of our municipalities, they remained silent. Now it's their turn, too, and how do they stand on the issue of Istanbul? That's why the 6-way table doesn't matter for the Kurds either. If there is an election, we will vote for the Kurds. We are Kurds, we never lose our originality. We will continue to protect our identity. I also call out to those who lost their originality, those who support the AKP should return. We are brave, we are going to win."
