ANKARA - The HDP, whose treasury accounts have been blocked, is launching the "Our treasure is our people" campaign upon the intense demand of its supporters.

 

The Constitutional Court (AYM) decided to block the accounts of the party that received Treasury aid, upon the application of the Chief Public Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Bekir Şahin within the scope of the lawsuit filed with the demand for the closure of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP). After this decision, HDP Headquarters' phones were locked. In this process, construction workers from Izmir "We will give our wages", Retirees "We will send our salary", a citizen from Diyabakır "We will take out loans", from Mardin "We will make the party flags", from İstanbul "We will pay the rent of the party buildings". 

 

Upon the intense demand of the party base, HDP decided to launch the campaign "Our treasure is our people". HDP Spokesperson Ebru Günay will start the campaign with the press conference she will hold on Thursday.

 

THE STRONGEST ELECTION CAMPAIGN

 

According to the information received, HDP Co-Chairs Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar will join the campaign first. In addition, party MPs and component parties will also participate in the campaign. The “mobile dues” application will be reinstated within the scope of the campaign.

 

HDP officials, which will run the strongest election campaign without the help of the Treasury, said: "We will displace the AKP and its judiciary how to run a campaign with the power of the people."
