ANKARA - AHBAP Association President Haluk Levent announced that they also purchased food from Kızılay.

 

Haluk Levent, president of the AHBAP association, was a guest of the Alarm Clock program with İlker Karagöz on Fox TV. Answering questions about the tents sold by Kızılay to the association, Levent announced that Kızılay also sells canned food to them.

 

'WE PURCHASED 2,000 50 TENT FROM THE KIZILAY'

 

Regarding the tents, Levent said: "We bought 2050 of the tents we bought from Kızılay. We couldn't find a tent on the second day. We go out at night with a few of our friends. I couldn't find a tent at that time, there were no tents. Friends saw that Kızılay was selling tents on their website, and the Pharmacist's Chamber also bought them. These are tents made for export. They are suitable for international conditions. It is known that Kızılay sells tents to subsidiaries. But I can't think of them at that moment, people are trembling. I couldn't think of whether these tents are Kızılay or not. We bought 20 thousand lira tents from Kızılay for 19 thousand liras. Plus VAT and shipping,”” 

 

'NEW REGULATION SHOULD MADE'

 

Following Karagöz's words "State should not receive VAT", Levent continued as follows: "This would not happen among state institutions. We bought planes from France, I gave 200 thousand Euros to the state with withholding tax. Maybe a new regulation should be made regarding these."

 

When asked by Karagöz, "Did the Red Crescent sell you food," Levent replied, "We bought canned food."
