DİYARBAKIR - Stones spilled due to the earthquake on the walls of Amed(Diyarbakır), which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, have been waiting where they are for more than 2 months.

 

Cracking, dents and filling spills occurred in the Maraş-centered earthquakes at 30 points of the historical Amed walls, which are on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Although 2 months and 5 days have passed since the earthquakes of February 6, the stones are kept where they are. Leaving the historical stones that were spilled due to the dent in the Goat Bastion, which was restored and given to a private enterprise a short time ago, invites the thefts in the past.

 

On the other hand, the dents in the walls continue due to rain. The lack of security measures around the dent in the Goat Bastion, which is frequently used during visits, also invites possible accidents.
