ANKARA - In the Kobanê Case, stating that the court board was a party to the 2023 elections with interim decisions and with the opinion of the prosecutor, HDP's Nuray Özdoğan: "The AKP-MHP government has tied its future to the conspiracy cases it wages against our party, our proxies, and our members."

 

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Law and Human Rights Commission held a press conference at HDP headquarters regarding the Kobanê Case, where the former HDP Co-Chairs, MPs and MYK members were tried on the grounds of the protests that took place on October 6-8 and the prosecutor presented his opinion on the merits before the defenses ended. Speaking in the statement, HDP Law and Human Rights Commission Co-Spokesperson Nuray Özdoğan reminded the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) the profits of former HDP Co-Chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ and the decision that the trial against HDP members is political.

 

‘AKP-MHP LINKED ITS FUTURE TO THE CONSPIRACY CASES’

 

Stating that the government and its partner, who put pressure on the courts, are the real creators of the picture in question, Özdoğan said: “We believe that the members of the judiciary will remember their professions and honors as judges and judges at some stage in the face of the peoples of this country for democracy, peace and justice. We also promise that after 14 May 2023, we will remove the Judicial authorities from this picture of shame that they have fallen into. The AKP-MHP government has linked its future to the conspiracy cases it carries out against our party, our deputies, and our members. We can't get enough of Goebbelsian propaganda methods. Our people can see who lies or not, so they will choose the right decision in the ballot box. Our peoples will shape the future of democracy in this election, and they will give the answer to those who make all the institutions of the country their own institutions at the ballot box."
