NEWS CENTER - HDP Federated Kurdistan Region Representative Office condemned the murder of Hüseyin Türeli in the attack in Duhok and said that the attacker was a member of the AKP-MHP.

The Federated Kurdistan Region Representative Office of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in Hewlêr held a press statement at the representative office regarding the murder of Hüseyin Türeli, who immigrated from Turkey for political reasons, in the attack in Duhok. In the statement, it was stated that HDP politicians had to come to the Federated Kurdistan Region from Turkey due to the pressures of the AKP-MHP fascist regime, but the Turkish MIT was exposed to attacks with the cooperation of some regional powers.

In the statement that the attack was carried out by the Turkish MIT, the statement said: "Yasin Bulut, Zeki Çelebi, Nagihan Akarsel and Mamoste Şemal were martyred in Sulaymaniyah with the increasing attacks since 2021. Hüseyin Türeli's murderer has not been caught yet. Hüseyin Türeli had been injured by an armed attack before the incident. These attacks of the Turkish MIT are the result of pressure and threats against politicians coming from Northern Kurdistan to Southern Kurdistan. The person who killed Hüseyin Türeli is a member of the AKP-MHP. We condemn this brutal attack. The authorities in Duhok must find the murderer as soon as possible and must not allow him to escape."
