İZMİR - Stating that they took part in the election campaign for peoples to live in peace, the family of Deniz Poyraz said: "It's time to pay women murderers to account."

The Greens and the Left Future Party (Green Left Party) continue their efforts all around to knock on every door, go to every village, and come together with every segment of the May 14 Presidential and General Elections. The Green Left Party, which is preparing to go to the Parliament with the target of at least 100 MPs, has not left any neighborhoods and streets in 30 districts of İzmir that it has not been to for days. While stands are being opened in the district centers, the Green Left Party, which is present in the markets and on the streets with the tradesmen and citizens, wants votes for the democratic transformation.

THE FAMILY OF POYRAZ WORKS FOR ELECTION

The Green Left Party is working feverishly to reach a wide audience all over the city, from young people who will vote for the first time, from families demanding justice, to women and youth who want freedom. The mother Fehime Poyraz and the father Abdullilah Poyraz of Deniz Poyraz who was murdered on June 17, 2021 at the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir Provincial Organization building, also take part in the work.

The Poyraz family, which is actively involved in the election campaign in Konak district, is working day and night to remove at least 4 MPs from Izmir. The Poyraz family, who entered their workplaces one by one during their visits to the shopkeepers, explains that the AKP government must change in order to re-establish justice.

FOR LIFE TOGETHER...

Stating that May 14 is an important election that will reveal the will of the peoples to live together in peace and Father Abdullilah Poyraz said: "I hope this election will lead to peace, brotherhood and the end of the war. We are against the war, we don't want any mother to shed any more tears."

'THE MURDERERS WILL BE PAID ACCOUNT'

Emphasizing that the Green Left Party is the party of all oppressed peoples, Poyraz said: "We will hold the account of Özgecan Aslan, Berkin Elvan, and my daughter Deniz, who were murdered with the Green Left Party. If we win, they will be paid to  account. We will give a great answer to the AKP-MHP government. AKP-MHP will go. The murderers of hundreds of people like my daughter, who were murdered unjustly and unlawfully, will be paid to account.

'IT IS TIME TO PAY THE MURDERERS TO ACCOUNT'

Stating that her daughter Deniz was murdered because of her Kurdish identity and her disobedience to the power, Mother Fehime Poyraz said: "I do not want  only the shooter Onur Gencer, but also all the forces behind him to be brought to light and pay them to account. If Deniz had not been murdered, we would have taken part in the election campaign together today. When Deniz was murdered, I said to put an end to the massacres of women. But after that, hundreds of women were murdered. Let's not let the murderers pass in order to end the oppression and oppression of women. This election is the choice of women. That's why I want to make a call to women in particular, to hold their votes in Green to hold all the murdered women accountable. I want them to hand it over to the Left Party. It's time to pay women murderers to account. It's our time."
