7 people detained in Elke

ŞIRNAK – 7 people were detained in house raids in Elkê district early in the morning.
 
Soldiers raided the villages of Feraşîn, Wargundik and Melîxa in Elkê (Beytüşşebap) district of Şırnak early in the morning. During the raids, Fazıl Aslan from Feraşîn village, Şehmus Aslan and his children Mazlum from Melîxa village, Cudi Aslan and his brother Hecer Aslan, and Kerem Abi and Şaban Abo from Wargundik village were detained.
 
THE REASON OF DETENTION IS WITNESS STATEMENTS
 
It was learned that the reason for the detention was "secret witness" statements, and it was stated that 7 people were taken to the Şırnak Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
 
17 DETENTIONS IN ONE WEEK
 
While 6 out of 10 people detained in house raids in the district on June 12 were arrested, the number of those detained in the district increased to 17 in the last week.
