SÊRT- Ekrem Altay, who is imprisoned in Antalya Type S Prison, stated that seriously ill prisoners are not transferred to the hospital.

 

Ekrem Altay, who is imprisoned in Antalya Type S High Security Closed Prison, talked about his violations in a phone call with his family. Altay said: "The requests of the ill prisoners to be sent to the hospital were either kept waiting for a long time or were rejected. The two prisoners in the same ward were paralyzed, they were not transferred to the hospital and unfortunately we could not find an interlocutor."

 

Altay called for public awareness to ensure that ill prisoners have access to their right to health.
