According to the information obtained, a vehicle traveling in the direction of Amed-Riha was stopped during the inspection at the search point in front of Pirinçlik Gendarmerie Station Command in Peyas (Kayapınar) district. The teams stopped the vehicle with a man in the driver's seat and a woman next to him, and seized 50 kilograms of marijuana during the search inside the vehicle.

 

It turned out that the driver of the vehicle was Şahin Aslan, President of the Amed Branch of the Anti-Terrorism and Duty Heroes, Martyrs and Veterans Families Assistance and Solidarity Association.

 

Aslan, who was taken into custody by the gendarmerie along with the person with whom he had an imam marriage, was arrested and imprisoned on the charge of "drug dealing" at the courthouse where he was taken last weekend. The woman next to him, with whom he had an imam marriage, was released.

 

It was also learned that the prosecutor's office made a 'confidentiality' decision regarding the investigation file regarding Şahin Aslan, who was caught with 50 kilos of drugs.

 

CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH BUREAUCRATS AND SOLDIERS

 

Şahin Aslan is a name that has close relations with many bureaucrats and military officials in the city. One of these names with whom Aslan is known to be in close contact is Abdullah Çiftçi, Deputy Governor of Diyarbakır and Secretary General of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, which is under trustee management.
