A Kurd named Peyman Abdi, who was detained for allegedly clashing with the police two days ago in Kermanshah, Iran, was tortured and killed. Peyman Abdi, a 35-year-old father of two children who was taken into custody, was taken to a military hospital after falling into a coma as a result of the torture he experienced in custody. Doctors at the military hospital informed the family that Abdi died as a result of a blow to his head with a hard object. However, security units claimed that Peyman Abdi died by choking while eating in the detention center.
