NEWS CENTER – An armed attack was carried out on the DEM Party's election vehicle in Kocasinan district of Kayseri. The Kayseri Provincial Organization of the party announced that the attacker was taken into custody.

 

An armed attack was carried out on the vehicle of the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), which is continuing its election campaign, in the Kocasinan district of Kayseri. While no one was injured in the attack, it was stated that an investigation was launched.

 

The camera footage of the attack was shared on the virtual media account of the party's Kayseri Provincial Organization. In the post, “There was an armed attack on our election vehicle on Sivas Street in Kayseri Kocasinan district, around 13:35 on March 13th. We were able to get the clearest image of the incident from a shop's security camera. The attacker took its gun from its waist and fired from close range."

 

ATTACKER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

 

In the post, it was stated that provincial co-chairs and party officials testified at the police station regarding the attack, and added: "The statements continued until late at night, the attacker was detained, but the name and surname were not shared with us, no one was benefited or lost their life in the attack."
