ŞIRNEX - It was stated that the election duty of a teacher in Cizîr district was canceled due to the victory sign icon next to its name on WhatsApp.

Education and Science Workers' Union (Eğitim-Sen) Şırnak Branch announced that the election duty of one of its members in Cizîr (Cizre) district on March 31 was canceled due to the victory sign icon next to its name on WhatsApp.
 
In the statement, it was stated that the cancellation decision belonged to District Election Board Director Mehmet Şirin Keskin. In the statement, it was said: "The election duty of our member has been canceled without any legal basis. We never accept the intolerance towards the victory sign, which is a symbol of peace as a universal symbol. We call on the authorities to rectify this mistake as soon as possible."
