ŞIRNEX - Süleyman Salğucak, who reacted to the transported soldiers lined up in elections of Şirnex by saying, "Speak, where are you from?", said: "The people of Şirnex won Şirnex. They just stole the will of the people."

The will of the people was usurped by the votes of thousands of soldiers and police officers in Şirnex center. The moments when soldiers and police officers were brought in for mass voting were also reflected in the footage. The reaction to the soldiers and police in front of Major General Omer Keçecigil Primary and Secondary School left its mark on the day. Süleyman Salğucak (61) from Şirnex asked the soldiers and police officers waiting in line in front of the school and reacted with his words, "Speak, where are you from?". The images in question were also a summary of the reaction to transporter voters.

'THEY STOLE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE'

Speaking to Mezopotamya Agency (MA), Salğucak summarized what happened on election day as "a situation worse than a trustee". Salğucak said: "They brought thousands of soldiers from places like Muğla, Yozgat and İzmir. They brought those soldiers by force. It was a sin, too. They were devastated. They brought dozens of buses of soldiers here with the money of these people. Just to take Şirnex from us but they could not win. The people of Şirnex won Şirnex. They just stole the will of the people."

Salğucak said: "The people of Şirnex will not accept this. The people of Şirnex voted for themselves. But they appointed trustees according to the will of the people. They did it so that the representatives of the Kurds would not sit in that seat. It was very difficult for me the other day. I saw so many buses. They brought it from everywhere. The license plates of all the vehicles were visible. They stole the will of the people with the people's money."

'LET THE ELECTIONS BE RENEWED'

Salğucak stated that he wanted to know where the soldiers came from by asking "Speak, where are you from?" and said, "They couldn't speak because of fear. They didn't speak not because they were afraid of me, but because they were afraid of those who brought him."

Salğucak continued as follows: "The people of Şirnex showed a very strong stance, but they did something worse than being a trustee against the will of the people. I thank our people. From now on, we will continue our struggle. We will do our best. But the elections in Şirnex need to be held again."
