AMED - Halise Aksoy, who was arrested based on the statements of confessor Umit Akbıyık, was released at the third hearing of the case.
The third hearing of the case of Halise Aksoy, whose son Agit Ipek's bones were delivered to her by cargo in a box and who was arrested on April 28, 2023 with the statements of the confessor Umit Akbıyık, was held at Diyarbakır 10th High Criminal Court. Aksoy and her lawyers Zeynep Karayılan and Necat Ciçek were present at the hearing.
At the hearing, the prosecution requested Aksoy's continued detention to correct the missing issues. The defending lawyers demanded Aksoy's release.
The court decided to release Aksoy on the grounds that there was no suspicion of escape and postponed the hearing to September 18.
