The football tournament organized by Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Serêkaniyê (Ceylanpınar) Youth Assembly in the name of Gülistan Doku, who has not been heard from since January 5, 2020, has been completed. The final match, which was played at an astroturf field in the district, was attended by a large number of people as well as DEM Party District Organization and municipality council members. 

 

Banners saying “Where is Gülistan Doku?”, “Me bi ciwanî destpêkir emê bi ciwanî serbikevin (We started young, we will succeed young)” and “Govend berxwedan û têkoşîn e (Halay is resistance and struggle)” unfurled. While 16 teams competed in the tournament that started on June 26, Şah İletişim and Hello Bello faced each other in the final match. The final match ended with a 3-2 victory for Şah İletişim. 

 

After the final match, the winning teams were awarded medals and cups.
