AMED - The military operation launched in the rural areas of Pêçar neighborhood of Licê continues. 

 

It is learned that a military operation was launched in the countryside of Pêçar neighborhood of Licê (Lice) district of Amed (Diyarbakır) yesterday evening with the participation of many soldiers and village guards. After the operation, helicopter movements started in Lis, Çemê Sarume, Zikte and “Şehit Remzi” areas. 

 

In the operation launched in the same area on September 16, 2 HPG members had lost their lives. Residents of the rural neighborhood were subjected to insults and threats by the soldiers.
