SÊRT - "If a solution is desired, the gains of the Kurdish people must be recognised and the attacks must be stopped immediately," said the demonstration against the will usurpation in Sêrt.
Protests against the appointment of trustees to Sêrt (Siirt) Municipality continue. People gathered at Orhan Doğan Park and marched towards the municipality with the slogans "Bijî berxwedana Rojava (Long live resistance of Rojava)", "Bijî berxwedana gelê Kurd (Long live resistance of the Kurdish people)", "Thief trustee", "We will win if we resist" and "Jin, jiyan, azadî (Woman, life, freedom)". Co-Mayors of Sêrt Municipality, DEM Party MPs, Peace Mothers' Assembly members and many people participated in the march.
During the march where slogans such as "No to trustee, respect for the will", "Biji berxwedana Rojava", "We will win if we resist" and "The day will come, the time will turn, the trustee will answer to the people" were frequently chanted, reaction was also shown against the attacks on the Tishreen Dam in North and East Syria.
