NEWS CENTER - Xwebûn newspaper came out with the headline "Halay is freedom". 

 

The 242nd issue of the weekly Kurdish daily Xwebûn was published with the headline "Govend azadî ye (Halay is freedom)". The newspaper's headline drew attention to the targeting of those who dance the halay to Kurdish songs. An interview with Celal Ekin from the Dicle Culture and Arts Association on the subject was included. 

 

On the front page of the newspaper, writer Bişeng Sara's article on self-defense was featured. This week's issue also included news on Turkey's attacks in the Federated Kurdistan Region and KDP cooperation.
