A fire broke out in the forest area of the Simaqî Neighborhood of the Şankuş (Çüngüş) district of Amed (Diyarbakır). While the cause of the fire is unknown, citizens are responding to the fire. A fire truck was sent to the neighborhood after the fire was reported.

 

However, citizens stated that it was not possible for a fire truck to intervene in the area where the fire broke out, and that the fire should be intervened by helicopter.

 

The fire continues in the region.
