16 civilians injured in attacks in Deir ez-Zor

ANKARA - A mosque was bombed and 16 people were injured in attacks carried out by the Damascus regime and its affiliated groups in Deir ez-Zor.

The attacks launched by the Damascus regime and its affiliated groups in Deir ez-Zor continued last night. Since the attacks began, 11 civilians have lost their lives, while 16 civilians were injured in attacks last night. According to information obtained from local sources, groups affiliated with the Damascus regime bombed villages randomly with heavy weapons, howitzers and mortars in the early hours of the morning. In the attacks, 2 people were injured in the village of Kishkiyê, and 14 people were injured in the attack on the Al Mewh neighborhood of the town of Abu Hamam.
 
The injured were taken to hospitals in Deir ez-Zor, and it was reported that 2 of the injured are in serious condition.
 
It was reported that a mosque in the village of Kishki was targeted and bombed in the attack by regime forces and its affiliated groups.
 
The Deir ez-Zor Military Council, which made a statement regarding the attacks, announced that they carried out a retaliatory action against 3 points of the armed groups affiliated with the Damascus government by moving from the east of the Deir ez-Zor Canton to the west bank of the Euphrates River due to the Dehla and Cedid Begara massacre. The council stated that 20 people from the groups affiliated with the Damascus regime were killed and many people were injured in this retaliatory action.
