We have received new information about Onur Gencer, who murdered Deniz Poyraz after an armed attack on the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir Provincial Organization. At the time of the massacre, we obtained the statements of the eyewitnesses who were in the 8-storey building and the taxi driver who brought the murder suspect to the police station.

 

In the statement given by the taxi driver, the driver said that the attacker often came to the taxi stands in Gaziemir. The taxi driver noted that the murderer Gencer, whom he picked up at the bus stop on different dates, was taken to Balçova Thermal Hotel, Manisa and HDP provincial building and many other places.
