URFA- The vehicle belonging to the Şenyaşar family, which continued the sit-in actions on its 651th day, and on which a banner with the inscription "Justice" was hung, a "parking" ticket was issued.
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 651. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. The family continued their protests by hanging a "Justice" banner on their cars parked in front of the courthouse.
DOUBLE STANDARD
Stating that the car that belonged to them was given a "parking" ticket last week, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "The vehicle they parked in the guard area, which they called 'Justice Corner', was fined and stated that 'parking ban' was given as the reason for the fine. The courthouse staff announced the ban, but only they were fined. If there is a ban in front of this courthouse, it should be enforced for everyone. We do not want double standards in the law. We condemn this penalty, we do not accept it. We will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office about this. If a penalty is written about our vehicle, why are these vehicles here?"
