NEWS CENTER - The number of people who lost their lives in two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 that occurred in Mereş yesterday rose to 3 thousand 381.
 
7.7 magnitude occurred at 4.17 am yesterday in the Pazarcık district of Maraş; In the district of Elbistan, 10 cities were affected by the earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.6 at 13:24, while search and rescue efforts continue in the debris of thousands of collapsed buildings. Along with the search and rescue efforts, the number of people who lost their lives changes instantly.
 
THE DEATH TOLL IS INCREASING
 
The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced that 3 thousand 381 people lost their lives in the earthquake, 20 thousand 426 people were injured, and 7 thousand 840 people were saved alive.
 
MORE THAN 130 EARTHQUAKE
 
After the earthquake in Pazarcık, more than 130 aftershocks have occurred so far, some of them above 6.
