Police raided the house of educator Leyla Ziafar, who expressed her support for the protests that started after the murder of Jîna Emini on September 16, 2022 in Tehran, the capital of Iran, and that still continues. Leyla Ziafar, who was taken into custody, was arrested for sharing social media.

Ziafar shared the following on the ongoing resistance in Iran and Rojhilat on his social media account: "There is no turning back on the way we went. We gave martyrs to remove this veil and captivity. We will not allow the blood of our martyrs to be trampled."
