URFA- The release of political prisoner Sinan Sütpak, who has been held in different prisons for 30 years and 3 months, has been postponed for the second time for 3 months on the grounds that he is "not good conduct".
Sinan Sütpak, who was detained in Riha's Curnê Reş (Hilvan) district and arrested on May 3, 1993 and sentenced to life imprisonment in the proceedings, is not released on the grounds that he is not in "good conduct" despite completing his sentence. After being arrested, Sütpak remained in Riha, Semsûr, Bursa and Mereş Elbistan prisons, and was held in Yozgat Prison, where he was transferred last time. Sutpak, who was transferred from Elbistan to Yozgat due to the Mereş-centered earthquakes shortly before his release, was supposed to be released on May 3, but his release was postponed for 3 months with the report of the Administration and Observation Board. The release of Sütpak, who came to the council once again today, was postponed once again for 3 months for the same reasons.
In the interview and observation report, which was the reason for the postponement of Sütpak's release, the following statements were included: "If he is released from prison, his life energy is low, he does not cut off his connection with the' terrorist organization' after he enters prison, he does not confess, he does not give up his radical thoughts, he does not openly describe the organization as a "terrorist organization", he does not have any remorse, and he is inclined to commit crimes.
It was learned that Sütpak, whose release was postponed on the grounds that he was not in good conduct, would appeal the decision through his lawyer.
