Çekdar Ödüngit, who is held in Type L Closed Prison in Agirî's Panos (Patnos) district, talked about the rights violations he experienced in a phone call with his family. Ödüngit's brother, Hevidar Ödüngit, said that his brother told him that their wards were raided every day. Noting that books and belongings were distributed during the raid, Ödüngit shared that his brother said: "They took many of our belongings and made others unusable."
Ödüngit stated that his brother said that they do not take ill prisoners to the hospital on time in Patnos Prison. When they do, they cause difficulties because of this situation, they sometimes do not want to go to the hospital. We must lend a voice to the voices of those who are behind four walls. The unlawful acts committed through struggle can end."
