ÊLIH - Serê Salê was celebrated in Êlih with the participation of thousands of people.

 

Serê Salê (New Year's Eve) celebrations in Êlih (Batman) were celebrated enthusiastically this year as in previous years. Thousands of people attended the event organized by Bahar Cultural Center at a wedding hall in the city. Many citizens attended the event wearing local clothes. Artists Cevdet Bağca, Şêrzat, Koma Sorjiyan, Kolektifa Ritmen Azad and dengbêjler took the stage at the event. A theater performance was also performed at the event, where enthusiasm prevailed. Slogans such as "Bijî berxwedana zîndanan" and "Jin, jiyan, azadî" were frequently heard in the hall. Citizens stood still for a long time.
