We hope to forward recommendations to Parliamentary Assembly soon says Parliament Speaker

ANKARA - Chair of the "National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission" and Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus said he hopes to present the commission's recommendations to the Parliamentary General Assembly for study as soon as possible. 
 
The "National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission" established in the Parliament within the scope of the solution of the Kurdish issue held its 13th meeting. Delivering the opening speech of the meeting, Commission chair Numan Kurtulmuş stated that they had now come to the end of the rest period. 
 
Kurtulmuş said: “I hope that as soon as possible, we will complete our speeches, hearings and negotiations and submit our recommendations to the General Assembly in order to enable the Parliament to work on these issues by presenting a very comprehensive report on the framework of the necessary measures and steps to be taken regarding the next process.”
 
In the first session of the meeting, the Commission will listen to the Association of Lawyers, Turkish Law Institute, Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD), Association of Social Democrat Lawyers (SODAD), Association of Legal Research (HUDER). In the second session, Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Eren, Prof. Dr. Fazıl Hüsnü Erdem, Prof. Dr. İlhan Üzülmez, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Koca, Prof. Dr. Bahri Öztürk will be heard.
