ANKARA - During the budget negotiations, HDP MPs protested the Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, with placards written "Jin, jiyan azadi".

 

The 2023 Budget negotiations of the Parliament continue with the meetings of the Ministry of Family and Social Services at the Plan and Budget Committee. Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, and deputies attended the commission meetings.

 

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Women's Assembly Spokesperson Ayşe Acar Başaran and MPs Filiz Kerestecioğlu, Serpil Kemalbay, Dilan Dirayet Taşdemir, Rıdvan Turan, Tülay Hatimoğulları Oruç, Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu and Musa Piroğlu attended the budget talks.

 

HDP deputies protested Minister Yanık with placards written "Jin, jiyan, azadi". HDP deputies drew attention to femicides with these placards.
