Indictment prepared against Fincancı

ANKARA - An indictment has been prepared against TTB Central Council President Şebnem Korur Fincancı, who was arrested for her scientific statements regarding Turkey's chemical weapons attacks.
 
Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has completed the investigation it started against Şebnem Korur Fincancı, President of the Central Council of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), who was arrested on October 27 due to her scientific statements about Turkey's chemical weapons attacks on Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions.
 
In the indictment, a sentences of 7 years and 6 months in prison is requested for Fincancı for allegedly "propagandising a terrorist organization".
