At least 56 Baloch massacred in Iran in 3 months

NEWS CENTER - According to the report prepared by BAC, the Iranian regime murdered at least 30 Baloch people, executed 24 of them and 2 Baloch people died due to landmines in the first 3 months of the year.
 
Baloch Activists Campaign (BAC) published the Iranian regime's report on rights violations against Baloch. According to the report covering the first 3 months of 2025; Human rights violations continue widely in Balochistan.
 
The report stated that in the first 3 months of 2025, at least 30 Baloch were directly targeted and massacred by Iranian regime forces. It was emphasised in the report that 4 women and 2 children were among those killed, and at least 56 people were injured in these attacks. In the report, it was stated that 2 Baloch and 7 foreign citizens lost their lives due to the mines laid by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Army in Balochistan border areas. In the report, it was noted that 4 Baloch and 7 foreign citizens were injured due to these explosions.
 
In the report containing information on the executed Baloch, it was stated that at least 24 Baloch were executed in the first 3 months of the year and 3 Baloch were sentenced to death. In the report, it was stated that at least 218 Baloch were arrested in the first quarter of the year and 5 of them were children.
 
VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
 
In the report, where violence and massacres against women were mentioned, it was stated that at least 3 Baloch women were murdered by the men in the family and 3 Baloch women died in a suspicious way. In the report, it was stated that 2 pregnant Baloch women died as a result of medical negligence.
 
CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC OPINION
 
The report emphasised systematic rights violations against Baloch people, including killings of civilians, widespread executions, repression of fuel consumers, arbitrary arrests, violence against women and deaths due to medical negligence, which showed that the government not only failed to improve the livelihoods of the Baloch people, but also endangered the safety and lives of citizens by increasing repression.  BAC called on international human rights institutions and organisations defending the rights of women and children to put pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran to stop this process.
