ÊLIH - It is learned that prisoner Mehmet Emin Cam, who was hospitalised after a heart attack, was sent back to prison. 

 

Mehmet Emin Cam, 73, a seriously ill prisoner in Batman Beşiri T-Type Closed Prison, was taken to Batman Training and Research Hospital after a heart attack on 16 April. It is learned that Cam was sent back to prison after being treated there. 

 

Cam's daughter Simel Cam said that they received the information that her father was transferred to prison while they were waiting for the decision on postponement of execution and said, "Prison conditions mean death for my father."

 

"The doctor told us that the condition of the vein opened in the heart is good, they gave medication for the two blocked veins. Doctor said they will call my father for a check-up," said Simel Cam and reacted: "Let this persecution end. He had a heart attacks twice before. He must be released and his treatment must continue."
