Lawyer Nezahat Celen applied to the ministry for ill prisoner Mehmet Emin Cam who suffered a heart attack. Nezahat Celen said that her client suffers from memory loss and he has a risk of death.
Stating that Abdullah Öcalan's call has revitalised the hope for peace, Hakan Bozkurt, Co-Chair of the Wan Branch of ÖHD, said: "However, this hope can be strengthened with the steps to be taken by the state."

DEM Party denied the claims that another name will replace Sırrı Sureyya Onder in the İmralı delegation. "The meeting with the Minister of Justice will be held by our group deputy chairpersons due to Onder's health problem and Pervin Buldan's hospitalisation," the statement said.
Human rights defender Ahmet Faruk Unsal said Abdullah Öcalan's call was a "new beginning" and added, "Öcalan has presented a perspective that puts the demand for democratisation at the centre. Turkey needs to fulfil this call."
Families whose relatives are imprisoned amphasised that the process can move forward with the physical freedom of all prisoners, especially Abdullah Öcalan.

Families who lost their relatives during the conflict process stated that they support Abdullah Öcalan's call and emphasised that the state should take steps for a lasting peace.
